Reading: Continue with the rituals and routines of Reader's Workshop. Working on DRA levels.
Language Arts: long and short vowels review; Narrative Writing
Math: Calendar skills, subtraction with regrouping, review skills
Science: Parts of a plant; life cycle of a plant
We are off and running this week. As you can see we have wasted no time getting into the rituals and routines of the school year. Homework has been assigned each night as we are sure you have seen. Please remember that the students are to read for at least 15 minutes each night! Thank you for all you are continuing to do to make this year a success.

What a fabulous first week we had! It went by in a flash. We are looking forward to another exciting week of getting to know you, so come ready to work and to learn. Don't forget the Personal Posters are due on Monday! We can't wait to see them.
